We are looking for an ambitious Performance Marketing Leader to help Joi become the world’s most customer centric gifting company. The ideal candidate must demonstrate an expert level marketing knowledge and have a true passion for performance marketing, along with a ‘sleeves rolled up’ mindset.
Reporting to the CMO of Joi Gifts, you will be responsible for:
- Developing paid digital marketing strategies; planning and executing respective initiatives across channels, including search, social media, display, remarketing, affiliates, etc.
- Being hands-on within all the digital channels, and understand the work required to activate digital campaigns
- Monitoring channel performance daily, derive actionable insights, and readjust plans to hit overall scale and efficiency targets
- Constantly optimizing and improving campaign results leveraging test and learn new techniques
- Working with the engineering team to continuously improve the marketing infrastructure
Paid Media
- Possessing a solid understanding of the basic principles within all “paid-for digital channels” (display, affiliates, search, social)
- In-depth understanding of KPI selection within paid-for digital media channels
- Working closely with other marketing and eCommerce areas like trading, web analytics, CRM, and social media teams to gain insight that further optimize the online marketing spend
- Continuously innovating best practices and source, test, and evaluate potential new sources of high-quality traffic
Mobile App
- Building and executing a strong marketing plan to help drive awareness and customer adoption of the new mobile application
- Measuring the effectiveness of app advertising initiatives to drive awareness and adoption
- Establishing and optimising a variety of app advertising partnerships to drive greater adoption
- Championing fundamental user experience elements of the app to ensure that the right voice and high-quality content are maintained
Need to have:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing across channels, including affiliates, paid search, social, etc.
- Expert level understanding of Facebook performance marketing and Google Ads ecosystem
- Outstanding analytical skills and an ability to develop complex marketing models for advanced acquisition programs
- Presence of Facebook Blueprint, Google Training and Twitter FlightSchool certifications
- Agile, flexible, digitally savvy and results-driven
- Excellent problem-solving skills, business intuition, and ability to coordinate between multiple teams within the organization
- E-commerce experience
- Fluency in English are essential
Nice to have:
- MBA or Masters, with focus on Marketing, IT, or Engineering
- Advanced expertise in Excel, SQL is a strong plus
- Experience with bid management platforms, DSP's, DMP's, etc.,
- Performance marketing experience in other social media platforms - LinkedIn, TikTok and Spotify.
